2006年1月1日，欧姆龙（大连）有限公司商品开发分公司（旧OMD-R）取得独立法人资格，成立欧姆龙健康医疗商品开发（大连）有限公司（OHP）。
新公司坐落于大连市高新技术产业园区内，公司董事总经理北野邦彦表示，OHP作为大中华区内专业的商品开发公司，为健康医疗器械、健康管理器械的市场调查、研究、开发、设计和技术方面提供全方位的综合服务；并加强对中国本地技术人才的培养和开发，努力为公司在中国的事业做出贡献。
Omron Healthcare Products (Dalian) Co., Ltd. Established
Omron Dalian Co, Ltd. Research & Development Center (formerly OMD-R) changed its name to Omron Healthcare Product Development DalianCo., Ltd. (OHP) on 1 January 2006 after being qualified as an independent legal entity.
The new company is located in Dalian High-tech Industrial Zone. Kunihiko Kitano, Managing Director of OHP, said that as a product development company in OMCC, OHP will continue OMD-R’s commitments to providing comprehensive services in market research, development, design and technology of medical instruments and health management devices, enhancing the education and development of local technicians, and making contributions to its operations in China.
